JBM on the rise – Master Builders

From a business that started a little more than 12 months ago in a home office, JBM Projects is now an award winning business with two full time project managers, a secretary and a permanent site team who travel Australi-wide. We spoke with JBM Director Jason McRostie about his career so far, the success of his business and the industry in general.

JBM Projects specialise in shopfing; joinery – domestic high end market kitchens, bathrooms, bars, furniture; and renovations and extensions. Jason says the biggest challenge in the start up phase was trying to manage the administrative work on top of the day to day running of the business, but since then, they’ve completed work on pharmacies in Katherine, Darwin and presently, South Headland, WA.

They pride themselves on creative design, on  time delivery and personal service, and recognition for their hard work over the past year has come in the form of a Master Builders State Award for carpentry. The project was at a prestigious Hamilton home, and the company won for a kitchen fit out which was described by judges as “an outstanding display of quality workmanship.”
